SM City Marikina has officially kicked off the holiday season by unveiling its exciting Christmas centerpiece, "Santa's Christmas Park." The centerpiece includes a towering 35-foot Christmas tree surrounded by park-themed decorations, instantly turning the mall's atrium into a holiday wonderland.
The launch event was all about spreading Christmas cheer, featuring amazing performances from St. Scholastica’s Academy Marikina’s Glee Club and ADHIKA dance troupe, plus a fun Christmas musical by the talented Madison performers. Kids and everyone in the audience loved it!
The highlight? The ceremonial lighting of the Christmas centerpiece, attended by special guests like celebrity family Sofia Andres, Daniel Miranda, and their adorable daughter Zoe Miranda. Marikina City Vice Mayor Marion Andres and Councilors Cloyd Casimiro and Kate De Guzman also joined, along with SM Supermalls executives Timothy Jonas Cuenca, Kathrina Joven, and Don Edward Vijandre.
As the lights brightened, Santa Claus himself emerged, bringing even more magic to the scene. Dressed in his classic red suit and white beard, he greeted the crowd with a cheerful wave, making kids light up with excitement. The park-inspired setup, complete with Santa’s sleigh and festive decorations, felt like a secret holiday wonderland for everyone to explore and snap photos with loved ones.
In line with the holiday spirit of giving, the event highlighted the SM Bears of Joy campaign. For P280, shoppers can purchase a pair of adorable bears, keeping one for themselves and donating the other to a chosen charity, spreading joy to those in need.
