Find out why this classic chant for the crispylicious, juicylicious Chickenjoy is so iconic to Jollibee
For generations, Filipino families—have had only one thing on their mind when dining out: the goodness of the Jollibee Chickenjoy, and having as much of it as they want.
And over the years, there’s been many ways to express the desire for some wonderful and satisfying Chickenjoy—and wanting even more of it after having it—but there’s only one way that’s simple, direct, and even legendary. If you were already thinking of it, you’re right: Jollibee’s latest video ad brings back the iconic and catchy “isa pa, isa pa, isa pang Chickenjoy!” chant first heard in commercials featuring actors Aga Muhlach and Serena Dalrymple back in the ‘90s. This short video highlights Chickenjoy by showing young Filipinos doing the chant, along with their family.
The ad underscores how the chant still has a place in the hearts of the current younger generation of Filipinos, because after all these years, who could resist having one more of the crispylicious, juicylicious, and best-tasting Chickenjoy?
“Jollibee Chickenjoy is so beloved among generations of Filipinos that reviving ‘isa pa, isa pang Chickenjoy’ still resonates so much with everyone after all this time,” says Cathleen Capati, Jollibee Marketing AVP for the Bestsellers Category. “There’s still no better fried chicken in the country, and certainly no other chicken that’ll make you want to have one more piece.”
