Ever wondered which diet really works? Almost every year, a new fad diet comes along but is it really good for everybody? Well, It might be but is it sustainable? Here's my answer to that quick fat-loss diets..there's another way but the result might not be as fast as you expect. Lifestyle change might be just the one for you.
What's hard about consuming more greens and fruits? It's delicious and enjoyable to do. Increasing the consumption of natural food is great for the young and old. If you're not into it then you have no choice but to be a fan coz sooner or later, you'll find out that your body needs it and you'll eventually learn to love it as well.
Salad Bar. Music to my ears. As soon as I saw the selection of fruits and veggies, my heart jumped for joy. Located in Food Choices at Glorietta 4 in Makati, it stands out from the food vendors due to its uniqueness in what it offers.
As Natural as It gets
No need for cooking as almost everything in the menu doesn't need to be. I filled two containers, one for greens and the other one for fruits. I added tuna, eggs croutons and macaroni. Choices for dressing is plenty.
Peach, grape, mango, papaya, honeydew, lychee, and watermelon. I can recall all the fruits even while in the dark that since I enjoyed single piece in my microwavable, reusable container I consumed while in the movie house. Did I mention it's a perfect snack for movies? Get full on something else than popcorn. Guilt-free snack is what it is!

I have to confess, I'm a fruit and veggie fan if you haven't notice yet. There isn't a single variety of those things I wouldn't eat. However, I've never considered being a vegetarian or fruitarian coz I believe there should be balance. Too much of anything may not be absolutely, totally bad but I'm on the safe side. There's tuna among the choices at the bar, and I'd rather pick that over chicken, pig, or cow meat. Salad bar offers a well balanced selection. Eggs and macaroni are part of the menu.
Price
P30 per 100 grams. Not bad eh? The problem I figured, I thought all I had was enough but it wasn't. Since there was a wide selection at the bar and the taste of each item is distinct from the other, there was no way I could stop on munching.
Naturally, if you spend too much on something, you could feel bad about it. Here's one exception, when you know you're doing your body good. Getting fit is mostly done in the kitchen, not in the gym.
