I heard about Calle Mercado through their social media account. Their first branch was in Southwood Laguna and last September 23rd, they opened their doors at D'Grand Building Alabang, Zapote Road, Times. I was quite excited to go to Calle Mercado Times as their grand launch offered barbecue for P10, isaw for P5 and juice for P5 for their first 100 customers.
This food park is easy to find and accessible to the main road going to Alabang. The main landmark to get here is the Las Pinas City Hall. The food park was already packed with a lot of people and the grilled aroma of those barbecues welcomed us.
Embucon was the second stall we tried. This stall has pasta and embutido together at P140. I prefer the cold cut Embutido because it was more light, soft and tastes good. Their Embutido has two sizes: the regular one is priced at P170 and the super large is priced at P260.
The first time I came across Aldrich burger, the first thing I noticed was their rainbow buns. They have other selection of burgers with fries that are priced at P80. They also had a buy 1 take one promo for the first 10 customers.
Mr. Sausage offers Hungarian sausage cuts for P65 pesos and hotdogs at P45.
Weekends should never be boring. I started off with the promo barbecue until I got interested at the other stalls that has my favorites like the Hungarian sausages and sizzlers. My friends agreed that the pizza is a must-try. Also, I was hooked with the live music especially with the vocals of Kim Allen as I held my drink in one hand and a Rainbow burger on the other. Passing the time was just a breeze and dining with friends made my experience more memorable. Head over to this place if you're looking for a great time during weekends.
