One of the top distributors and marketing company in the Philippines, Macpower Marketing Corporation, held a product launch last May 22nd, 2017 at the F1 hotel. The newest line of Boompods is here.
The show was hosted by 80s sensation RJ Ledesma who introduced its founders and creators from the UK. The product launch also marks the partnership of Macpower , Boompods, and Globe telecom which is the distributor of the said audio line.

Boompods began as a homeware design and manufacturing business and was originally known as DT Design. It started its audio products in 2012 with the aim of producing quality, innovative and hip audio products. Their products stand out because they are: original, well-designed, stylish, hard working, and functional.
The night's highlight was the demonstration of the ruggedness of the Rokpod. The speaker was subjected to and passed the durability test by way of dropping and throwing the speakers on the floor and immersing it in water. Thanks to its multi-layered design and solid-rock construction, the speakers still worked and gave out quality sound through its nano speaker technology and passive bass system.
